FST Giro

In the last four weeks of May 2026, we completed our first epic cycling journey #FSTGiro through 10 regions of Italy from Puglia to Sud Tyrol with over 109,000 feet of elevation gain and 1,860 miles! Some of our fellow travelers took one or more weeks, and a few decided to enjoy the full experience.

We hope to see you on the road and at the table next year, as always, à la FST!

Week 1 - Puglia, Basilicata and Molise

6 days of riding | average daily mileage and elevation: 54mi / 2,500ft | Cycling level 2 (with some longer days)

Fry to Brindisi in Puglia and catch our transfer to the southernmost of the "heel" of Italy, where two seas meet just off the cape of Santa Maria di Leuca.

We will be riding through the heart of Puglia in Salento area to Alberobello, the fairy-tale town with the Trulli (cone-shaped houses made with local stone). On a detour to Basilicata region will visit Matera, UNESCO World Heritage, before coming back to Puglia to enter the National Park of Gargano.

A quick shuttle will takes us to Termoli in Molise for a final goodbye or your first rest day, in case you continue for the second week.
Week 2 - Molise, Abruzzo, Lazio, Umbria and Marche

6 days of riding | average daily mileage and elevation: 51mi / 4,570ft | Cycling level 4

We’ll make our way through several of “i borghi più belli d’Italia” (the most beautiful villages in Italy) visiting five regions along our rides.

Exhilarating rides through the two National Parks of Maiella and Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga, from the Adriatic sea. Then we continue through the Apennines, via Spoleto, and Gubbio to the elegant Urbino in the Marche region.

Final goodbye in Urbino or enjoy your first rest day, in case you continue for the third week.
Week 3 - Marche, Emilia-Romagna and Veneto

6 days of riding | average daily mileage and elevation: 54mi / 1,500ft | Cycling level 2 (with some longer days)

Marche, Emilia Romagna and Veneto: we’ll explore three regions and a number of incredibly beautiful towns.

Urbino, Rimini, Ravenna, Ferrara, Chioggia, Padova and Bassano del Grappa: each of them is worth a trip before the final goodbye.

We’ll ride long the Adriatic coast, inland on the hills of Romagna and along the rivers of Emilia and Veneto. In Bassano you can celebrate your week or take a rest day to get ready for the 4th week of the FST Giro.
Week 4 - Veneto, Trentino and Sud Tyrol (Alto Adige)

6 days of riding | average daily mileage and elevation: 36mi / 4,500ft | Cycling level 4

Veneto region and the Dolomites in Trentino and Sud Tyrol provinces: we’ll ride some of the most famous Dolomites passes, and stay in the charming villages, nested among the peaks of this UNESCO World Heritage destination.

The culture and cuisine are a mix between Italian and Austrian traditions, and we’ll ride all the way to the border between Italy (Sud Tyrol region) and Austria.

Final goodbye in Dobbiaco (Tolbach) in Sud Tyrol with a transfer to Venice airport or continue your stay in the area.
