Across the millennia, so many cultures have landed here, each leaving its indelible influence on the island and the people. “Tasting Eastern Sicily” delicately balances the monuments with the mouthfuls as each “feeds” into the other’s stories of life, past and present, in this slice of, arguably, Italy’s most famous region. Sicily is the largest of the islands in the Mediterranean.
